Charlotte is currently a junior at Canyon Crest Academy. This is her third year volunteering for AGSS. Charlotte has a strong passion for all areas of STEM, but especially loves anything related to math and chemistry. These interests have continued to grow through courses such as calculus and AP chemistry at her high school. Charlotte loves exploring different STEM opportunities, including participating in the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair and the California Science and Engineering Fair during both her freshman and sophomore years of high school. Recently, she received the Scripps Research Young Scientist Award at the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair, which gave her the opportunity to present her research alongside student interns at the Scripps Research Institute. Charlotte hopes to publish her work and continue to explore the world of chemistry while also advancing her knowledge of math. As Director of the Math Curriculum for AGSS, Charlotte hopes to encourage young girls to pursue their passions in math. She aspires to create an environment where girls feel engaged, supported, and excited to explore the world of math. Outside of academics, Charlotte loves spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and playing with her cats. .
