Emilie Kikunaga, Vice President

Emilie (Emi) is currently a senior at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) with a strong passion for STEM, especially science! For the past few years, Emi has served as a peer tutor for various students in Geometry and Biology. One summer, she taught science to nearly 200 girls at OLP’s STEM summer camp, inspiring young learners through hands-on activities. Emi also recently completed a 13-page historical research paper on the intersection of public health rhetoric and Asian immigration history. This is Emi’s second year volunteering for AGSS; she formerly served as the Director of Science Curriculum, and now eagerly anticipates her time as Co-Vice President! She is constantly amazed by the girls she works with and strives to nurture their passion in STEM. In her free time, Emi enjoys experimenting new recipes, watching K-dramas, collecting Miffy merchandise, and spending time with friends and family.
