Emma Rong, Director of Fundraising and OutreachEmma is currently a junior at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, California. Her love for STEM first developed when she read the intriguing and somewhat odd ‘What If?’ book and later joined the First Lego League club in elementary school. This past summer, Emma started working with Macau University to develop a chip to find lost items within households to help generally forgetful people (like herself). She is also part of the Bishop’s RoboCup Maze Team (got to compete on the East Coast and Netherlands!) and interns at the Boz Institute and UCSD. At AGSS, Emma is excited to support younger girls in pursuing their own STEM interests and working with other dedicated and great volunteers. In her free time, you can find her rock climbing, reading or somehow burning another batch of matcha cookies.
