Holly Wang, Director of Science Curriculum & Canyon Crest Academy School Ambassador

Holly is currently a junior at Canyon Crest Academy (CCA), and her favorite part of STEM is the science behind how people think, feel, and connect with technology. That interest grew out of exploring artificial intelligence and how it connects to psychology and human-computer interaction (HCI). This summer, Holly attended the National High School Game Academy at Carnegie Mellon University, where she worked as one of two programmers building two full playable (2D & 3D) games in Unity. She's also running her own research project, using computer vision and voice analysis to enhance introverts' social confidence. Holly's volunteered with AGSS for years, and she's excited to bring that same mix of science and tech into the workshops she helps build this year. Outside of academics, Holly enjoys playing badminton, reading detective novels and manga, creating her own indie video games, and spending time with her dog Coconut.
