Katherine Huang, Co-Director of OperationsKatherine is a senior at Canyon Crest Academy. She aspires to work on virtual reality, stories, video games, and other cool stuff to share with people.
Throughout high school, she has enjoyed competing in ethical hacking “Capture the Flag” competitions and CyberPatriot, as well as learning game design in programs like CMU’s National High School Game Academy. She also loves attending creative writing workshops like the Young Writers’ Conferences at Sewanee and the Kenyon Review. In her free time, she enters game jams with her friends, works on her webcomic, tries to compose soundtracks, and fails at eyeliner. She thinks cats are really great, and also bats. If you are an aspiring AGSS girl, she would like to tell you that creativity is the foundation for STEM, and one good way to handle people who don’t believe in your power is to succeed out of spite. If you’re reading this but are not an AGSS girl, she offers you an imaginary fluffy cat which hopes to make your day brighter. It's dangerous to go alone! Take this*. (*The advice and the cat aren’t mutually exclusive, so AGSS girls are also allowed to take the cat.) |
