Ruchika Kench, Director of Engineering Curriculum & Del Norte High School Ambassador

Maya is a senior at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace and has centered her high school experience around exploring different areas of STEM, with a particular interest in anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and math. Over the past year, Maya has had the opportunity to do medical shadowing, which has given her valuable insight into the medical field. In the future, she hopes to gain hands-on lab and research experience to help those around her. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, being outdoors, and watching movies. Maya is excited to continue inspiring young girls to further their curiosity and envision themselves in STEM!
