Medha Ravi, Vice PresidentMedha is a sophomore at Canyon Crest Academy, who loves biology and anatomy. She is closely involved with UCSD’s Institute for Engineering in Medicine, where she has developed four research posters: two on the effects of the W63C mutation in RIN3 on Alzheimer's patients, and two on the effects of GFAP following Laser-Induced Shockwave. She was lucky enough to present her work at the Bioengineering Institute of California and Biomedical Engineering Society. This is Medha’s second year volunteering for AGSS and she is truly passionate about sharing her love of science with younger girls, and showing them how cool science can be. In her free time, she competes on her school’s gymnastics team, decorates her room, and reads lots of fantasy books.
