Sharisa You, Director of Technology Curriculum
Sharisa is currently a senior at The Bishop’s School. Right now, her favorite STEM subjects in school are biology and statistics. Sharisa spends most of her time dancing as a part of her school’s dance group, Performing Dance Group, and co-running a nonprofit called Inspiring Tomorrow's Performers. Prior to the pandemic, she loved spending weekends at UCSD Bannister Family House making meals for hospital patients and their families. She is also co-Editor-in-chief of Globe Magazine at school this year. In addition to these, Sharisa's main interests include choreography and the visual arts. She loves to spend her free time on the archery range or traveling with family. She started volunteering for All Girl’s Stem Society in 9th grade after discovering her passion for teaching kids through a tutoring program at her school. Her favorite part of AGSS workshops is talking with and helping guide the girls through the workshop. She hopes that through AGSS she will inspire other girls to become interested in STEM subjects.
