Sherry Yu, Torrey Pines High School Ambassador

Sherry is a sophomore at Torrey Pines High School who has always been deeply fascinated with biology and the way the living world works around her. She participated in summer springboard's biotech program at UCSD, and has worked in a lab with different types of cells. She additionally competed in the Science Olympiad and hopes to acquire more research and lab experience in the foreseeable future. Until then, Sherry is more than ready to help many young girls pursue their dreams of entering the STEM field! While not working on academics, Sherry enjoys spending time with family and friends, rock climbing, surfing, and creating art.​​
