- 2:00 PM - 2:15 PM Zoom and All Girls Math Bonanza Introduction
- 2:15 PM - 2:25 PM Brain Warm Up: 24 Math Game
- 2:25 PM - 3:00 PM Target Round: working together with a team to solve 8 problems in 30 minutes
- 3:00 PM - 3:20 PM Sprint Round: competing as a team against other teams to solve 30 problems in 15 minutes
- 3:20 PM - 3:35 PM Break
- 3:35 PM - 3:50 PM Math Pictionary
- 3:50 PM - 4:25 PM Puzzle Round: working together to solve 2 puzzles in 30 minutes
- 4:25 PM - 4:30 PM Final Remarks
Participation & Registration
This free event is open to all girls in 3rd - 8th grades from public, private, or home schools on a first-come, first-served basis.
Event Information
- This event will consist of a Target round, a Sprint round, a Puzzle round, and fun math games.
- All participants will be part of a 3-4 person team within their grade sections (3/4, 5/6, 7/8). They will solve the problems through collaborating together in breakout rooms for all rounds.
- For the Sprint Round, the teams within grade sections will compete with each other to see which team can solve the most out of 30 problems in 15 minutes.
