Aimee Ramirez, Director of Social Media

Aimee is a senior at Our Lady of Peace. Her academic areas of interest are biology, medicine, music, and foreign languages. As a student who is passionate about her education, she currently holds a spot in her school’s Head of School Honor Roll. Aimee’s love for the natural sciences led her to spend her summer at Brown University where she studied techniques in DNA-based biotechnology, where she performed a large-scale extraction of her DNA and amplified SNPs through self-designed experiments. She also participated in the National French Contest earning a silver medal. Aimee started playing the violin at the age of two and has since then learned how to play a myriad of instruments. She loves music and can almost always be found with headphones or a speaker. She also spends a lot of her time volunteering, she especially loves AGSS and Ciudad de Los Niños, an orphanage in Tijuana, where she works in the baby ward. In her free time, Aimee enjoys watching Netflix, watching stand-up comedy on YouTube, getting out of escape rooms with friends, and spending time with family.
