She is also a member of Fleet Science Center’s Better Education for Women in Science and Engineering (BE WiSE) program, which inspires young women to pursue their interests in STEM. She hopes to encourage girls attending AGSS workshops in the same way, teaching them not only about workshop topics but also resilience and curiosity about the world around them. In her free time, Emmie enjoys reading, playing soccer, watching Marvel movies, and petting her dog.
