Kailin XuanKailin is currently a sophomore at The Bishop’s School. Growing up, she developed an interest in STEM activities, which eventually led her to tutor other students and participate in math competitions. This summer, she attended the Stanford AI4ALL Program, where she learned about the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and had the opportunity to work on a machine learning model that could accurately classify different types of skin conditions, using a medical imaging dataset. With experience in programming languages like Python, Java, and Swift, she is passionate about applying mathematics and computer science to tackle real-world challenges and support her community. At AGSS, she hopes to share her love of STEM subjects while encouraging younger girls to learn about, experience, and pursue STEM. In her free time, she likes playing the piano, golf, and poker, as well as traveling across the world with her family and friends.
