Kasie Leung, President

Kasie is currently a senior at The Bishop’s School. She’s loved STEM for as long as she can remember, but is particularly passionate about biochemistry, having recently participated in research on the effects of aging on cancer cell biology under Professor Varelas at Boston University. After being a participant in AGSS workshops from 4th to 8th grade, she’s volunteered for the organization since 9th grade, and is so excited and honored to serve as its president. Her favorite thing about volunteering for AGSS is helping girls gain more confidence in their STEM abilities and interests over the course of workshops. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating, reading, writing and baking with truly heart-clogging amounts of butter.
