Mia Gover, Co-Director of Communications and Technology CurriculumMia is currently a junior at The Bishop’s School. She first discovered her interest in STEM by convincing a tutor to teach her Python instead of writing an essay, and started taking more serious computer science classes once the pandemic started, learning more Python, Java, C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Along with computer science, her favorite areas of STEM include engineering and physics, which she puts to use as a member of a robotics team competing in the Rapidly Manufactured Robot Challenge. She is hoping to explore more ways to combine computer science with other disciplines with a neuroscience-based supercomputing internship this summer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to Taylor Swift, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, and hanging out with her friends. She is super excited to share her STEM passions with the girls!
