Preethi Muthukumaran, Director of Physics Curriculum

​Preethi Muthukumaran currently attends Westview High School in San Diego, California. She is a member of her school Senate. Preethi is also a part of her school's astronomy club and math club. She placed first in the country (Dubai) while studying abroad and participating in the National Science Olympiad and also placed 42nd internationally. She also participated in the International Math Olympiad. Preethi has traveled to many places around the globe in the past 14 years and finally decided to call San Diego her home. While in middle school, she participated in a NASA-funded program that encouraged individuals in middle school to develop their experimental design skills. Apart from that, Preethi is a member of her school's Science Olympiad team and participates in three separate events within it. Her extracurricular activities outside of school include playing the violin and volunteering at TOP (The Outreach Program) Soccer and AGSS. In her free time, Preethi enjoys photography and directing small movies as well as spending time with her friends and family.
