Selene Wang, Vice PresidentSelene is a senior at The Bishop’s School. She has been interested in STEM ever since 4th grade, especially in chemistry. She enjoys random math videos on YouTube and accidentally exploding things up in the lab. She has interned at the BioSPOT biophysics lab at the University of San Diego, where she investigated the viscoelastic properties of soft matter systems and at the Scripps Research Institute, where she performed directed evolution experiments to evolve enzymes. This is her fourth year volunteering for AGSS, and she is very excited to encourage girls to thrive in STEM. Her other interests include Speech & Debate, Model UN and Cross Country. In her free time, she loves reading a good book.
