Sonakshi Bhalla, Del Norte Ambassador

Sonakshi is a sophomore at Del Norte High school. She is very interested in STEM and participates in AGSS to share her love and passion for math and science with young girls.  Ever since middle school, Sonakshi has been involved in various clubs like Science Olympiad, Robotics, and Cyberpatriot, where she has received numerous awards. Additionally, she has placed 6th in Behavioral Health for HOSA’s state leadership conference, received an honorable mention in the British Biology Olympiad, and been a part of CTY, a John Hopkins gifted program. Outside of academics, Sonakshi plays tennis competitively and is on her school’s Varsity  team. She enjoys volunteering and community service and has accumulated over a hundred hours by teaching Science Olympiad, robotics, and tennis to younger kids. In her spare time, she listens to music, watches Netflix, and spends time with her friends and family.
