Sophia Delap, Our Lady of Peace Ambassador

​Sophia Delap is a current senior at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace. With a strong passion for STEM and the environment, Sophia participates in the all-girls robotics team at her high school, has recently joined the Engineering Projects in Community Service club that hosts annual hackathons, and partakes in the school's Green Team - an environmentally conscious club that discovers better alternatives to wasteful methods both on and off campus. Sophia is also a part of the varsity archery team at her school, and competes at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. Since sophomore year, her and her team have won awards both at the local and state level. Sophia takes advantage of her free time by surfing and skating with her friends and hiking and camping with her family. She also enjoys spending her alone time upcycling and sewing used articles of clothing in her efforts of being more environmentally conscious.
