Sophie Zeng, Director of Math CurriculumSophie Zeng is currently a sophomore at The Bishop’s School. She’s always had an affinity for STEM, especially mathematics! She has participated in many math competitions, such as the AMCs, MATHCOUNTS, MOEMS, and InteGIRLS. Sophie is also fascinated with computer science — she knows Java and Python and is interested in learning more about AI. Outside of STEM, she enjoys playing tennis, filmmaking, and technical theater. She plays on the Bishop’s girls’ varsity tennis team in the fall and enjoys working backstage for school productions while eavesdropping on theater kid gossip. Her original documentary “Priceless Pride” is on Youtube and has screened at multiple film festivals! She is also an avid Stray Kids and Billie Eilish fan. Through AGSS, Sophie hopes to connect with the next generation of young women, and she aspires to empower them to beat the patriarchy and pursue careers in STEM!
