Sophie Zeng, Director of Fundraising & Outreach

​Sophie Zeng is currently a junior at The Bishop’s School. She’s always had an affinity for STEM, especially mathematics! She has participated in many math competitions, such as the AMCs, MATHCOUNTS, MOEMS, and InteGIRLS. Sophie is also fascinated with computer science — to date, she has learned 7 coding languages and is very interested in learning more about the AI field. In her free time, Sophie enjoys filmmaking, technical theater, and environmental protection. This past year, she led a student environmental advocacy group called Project ARISE in promoting the use of AI in making environmental conservation more accessible. Through AGSS, Sophie hopes to connect with the next generation of young women, and she aspires to empower them to beat the patriarchy and grow up to be formidable women in STEM!
